Spring Assessments Bring Schedule Changes

 

Middle and High School Upcoming Assessments and Schedule Changes

 

Attention all MS/HS families! 

 

Spring 2021 assessments are right around the corner. All families, please read this information carefully, even if your student is not actually testing. Some of the testing affects the schedules for other grades that are not testing as well. 

 

PSAT and SAT TESTING  - TUESDAY, APRIL 13

 

**6th, 7th & 12th GRADE WILL HAVE A REMOTE WORK DAY ON APRIL 13.  No remote meetings will occur.**

 

8TH, 9TH & 10TH GRADE: PSAT

Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 7:30 - 12:00pm.  Students will be dismissed for the day after testing.

 

11TH GRADE: SAT

Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 7:30-1:00pm.  Students will be dismissed for the day after testing.

 

Students will take the tests on site at Black River, proctored in multiple classrooms to allow for social distancing. 

 

11TH GRADE:  ACT WORKKEYS
Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 7:30 - 11:00am. Juniors will be dismissed for the day after testing.

 

**6th, 7th, 8th WILL HAVE A NORMAL SCHOOL DAY ON APRIL 14.

 

**9th, 10th & 12th grade HAVE A REMOTE WORK DAY ON APRIL 14.  No remote meetings will occur**

 

Students will take the test on site at Black River proctored in multiple classrooms to allow for social distancing.

 

Specific testing information regarding rooms assignments, etc. will be shared at a later date. 


 

M-STEP ASSESSMENTS

In person students will test in their classrooms.  A plan for remote students will be announced when available.

 

6th Grade: ELA & Math Testing

Proctored by English and Math teachers during respective blocks between April 26 - May 14.

 

7th Grade: ELA & Math Testing

Proctored by English and Math teachers during respective blocks between April 26 - May 14.

 

8th Grade: Science/Social Studies

Proctored by Science & History teachers during respective blocks between April 12 - May 7.  

 

11th Grade: Science/Social Studies

Juniors will test on Friday, April 23 during the AM Friday Flex session.  11th grade students unable to test in the AM due to CTC or Dual Enrollment should come to the PM session that same day. Students should indicate this on their Flex Friday Forms that week.
