A Message from Shannon Brunink, Head of School - December 8, 2023

Dear Black River Community,

Please click here to read the letter from our Board President, Kimberley Mitchell, and Head of School, Shannon Brunink. The letter celebrates our great school and also asks for your support.

You can find a link to support the donation request here.

Thank you so much for your care of our great school!

December 8, 2023

Early today a student on campus was not feeling well and needed some medical support.  AMR/medical support responded and was able to assist and the student quickly received the necessary care.

Out of respect for the privacy of the student involved, we asked teachers to keep students in classrooms. We are thankful for everyone's patience and help during that time.

Exam Week Survival Kit

The BRPO is excited to launch its first-ever Exam Week Survival Kit available for students in 6th - 12th grades.

Congratulations Top October MS Rat Buck Earners

Congrats to our top Rat Buck earners for October 2023! Great job!

7th Graders: Jay Rivera, Zac Gracia, and Aspyn Nahal

It's the FINAL PUSH for a brand new Outdoor Learning Environment! Reserve a Brick

We're thrilled to announce that fundraising for the new outdoor learning environment is nearly complete! But you have one last chance to participate in this exciting project! For a donation of only $100, you can sponsor a personalized brick in this new space, creating a lasting tribute for your business, family, or student. Additionally, we're offering other exclusive naming rights (FCFS) for larger contributions, a unique way to significantly impact and showcase your commitment to our school's future.

This initiative is more than just building a space; it's about creating a lasting legacy for generations of BR students. For more information, please visit the website or see the letter your student received. Let's make history together at BR!
