Indoor Shoes
What we would like your child to bring on the first day of class is a clean pair of plain slippers or "croc" style shoes (no animals, action figures, cartoon characters, etc.).  This footwear will be worn only in the classroom.  Please make sure the slippers have a back to them and fit snugly (in the event of a fire drill this footwear will be worn outside - rain or shine). Our aim is to keep the environment clean and quiet for the children. 

Gym shoes are necessary footwear for outside work and gym.  Students will also need a pair of gym shoes on days we have gym class.  Sandals, Heelys, and heeled shoes are not safe or comfortable for active work or play.

Doctor Appointments and Early Dismissals
I understand that students may need to leave for doctor appointments or for the day a little early.  If you could, I would appreciate either a note or email letting me know a day or two in advance. I like to plan for each day's lessons and activities in advance.  If I know that your child will be leaving early this will greatly help me in planning!  Now I understand some things come up that are out of our control and if that happens please just let me know as soon as you can.  Thank you!
