Hello! I'm Mrs. Abigail Hop. I am a high school math teacher, and I am currently teaching the 9th grade math courses. I am also the head of the Math Team, which is a club for Middle School and High School students who want to challenge themselves with math outside of the school curriculum. I graduated in 2020 from Lee University (Cleveland, TN) with a degree in Chemistry, minor in Biology. Currently, I hold an Interim Teaching Certificate and am working on receiving a Graduate Certificate in Education through Davenport University. I grew up in Holland (graduated from Hamilton High School), and I moved back home after college to be closer to family. I enjoy all things outdoors like hiking, playing tennis, volleyball, gardening, and I also love spending time with my family and friends.  I began my teaching career at Black River in 2021 and am excited to continue working here!
