In order to remain flexible for our busy parents, we are offering two Conferencing options; 1) an in-person meeting  and/or 2) a remote meeting option via Google Meet. To make scheduling efficient, we will offer Thursday conferences to those choosing an in-person meeting and Friday for all remote meets.

Dates and details are below:

Attendance Phone Lines

We recognize that our attendance phone lines have been intermittent and we are currently working to address the problem.

Vision and Hearing Testing

Black River will be hosting the Health Department for our yearly vision and hearing screenings over the next few weeks and the dates are included below. Due to the close nature of screenings the Health Department recommends that both adults and students involved mask during vision and hearing testing. The Health Department will provide masks for use during their visit. Parents that would like to exempt their students from this year's screening should turn in the completed form linked below to the main office by Friday, September 24th.

Vision/Hearing Screening Exemption Form

This year the technicians will not be able to accommodate testing outside of the scheduled grade level. Bus Drivers Needed for Sporting Events and Field Trips

Fall is the perfect time to take a bus driver training course with BRPS! Would you consider becoming a bus driver to help with our field trips or serve our student athletes?  Black River Public School will partner with you and prepare you for this important role. Maybe you, your parent or someone you know is recently retired or has a job with flexible afternoons and evenings.  Anyone interested in getting started with driving certification should contact Kelli Heneghan (heneghank@brpsk12.org) for more information.
