The Annual Black River Public School High School Honors Assembly will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1:40PM in the gymnasium. Black River administrators and teachers host the assembly to honor our high school students, especially the senior class for their scholastic and community achievements. All high school students will be in attendance, and parents/guardians of juniors, and seniors are encouraged to join us too. Teachers and staff will be available after if you would like to snap a few photos. The doors will open at 1:20PM for seating. Parents and family members can proceed directly to the gymnasium and do not need to sign-in at the main office before attending. You are invited to attend our 8th grade Renaissance Fair on Friday, May 3, 2023. The event will take place in the main gym, at Black River Public School, from 8:45-10:15 AM. If you are able to attend, you will see your student’s story board about the Renaissance and hear a two-minute rendition about a historical figure from the Renaissance. We call this our wax museum, as many of the students will be dressed up as the character they are portraying.

Your presence is not required, but we would love to have as many of you attend as possible. It really adds a lot to the event if we can have adults observing as well as other students. The 8th graders love sharing their hard work! 

Visitors can head straight to the Main Gym for check-in.

Please join us for Fine Arts Night at Black River. There will be band, choir, and orchestra performances in both gyms throughout the evening, small groups in the Lyceum, artwork on display in the Large Ensemble Room, and a silent art auction in the Lyceum.
