Hello Black River families! After graduating from Oregon State with a bachelor’s in Mathematics Education, I taught in
Oregon for nine years before becoming a mom. My family moved to Michigan in 2006 and joined the Black River family. In 2007, I started substitute teaching at Black River and have been BR’s full-time ‘In-House Guest Teacher’ since 2014. I love getting to work with all of the students, K-12! It's fun to watch them grow from the elementary grades through high school. My daughters graduated from BR in 2013 & 2016. In my 'off' time, I enjoy participating in
Zumba classes, going for walks, reading a good book, and spending time with my cat, family and friends
