Mrs. Liz Donoghue attended College For Creative Studies and studied Illustration
and Art Education. She has been a K-12 grade art teacher for at least 3 years in the
Detroit Metro area. After taking time to stay home with her first child, she missed
teaching art. Liz is ecstatic to be Black River’s new art teacher to K-7 grade students.

Ms. Liz and her family enjoy camping and swimming in Lake Michigan. When
Liz is not teaching she enjoys going to the movies by herself and playing board
games with friends. Liz’s weakness is shopping at thrift stores and buying picture
books to add to her growing collection. Liz looks forward to meeting her new
students and for an awesome new year at Black River!
