Greeting Black River Families!

I grew up in the Grand Rapids area, and attended and graduated from the Wyoming Public Schools. I began my college journey at GRCC. My experiences there helped solidify my plans for becoming a school counselor. After completing GRCC I moved to North Carolina and attended Montreat College and Western Carolina University earning a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. I have lived and worked in North Carolina, California and here in West Michigan. I am coming to Black River Public School with 16 years of educational experience.

In my free time I love all things crafty. I also enjoy collecting rock, seeking lighthouses and waterfalls. I also dabble in photography and recently am trying to learn how to sew.

I am excited to be part of the Black River Family.
