Hi! My name is Misha Dorland.  I teach upper elementary here at Black River.  I taught second grade for many years at Vanderbilt Charter Academy before coming to Black River.  I have my undergraduate degree from Hope College and my masters from Cornerstone University.  I live in Holland with my two daughters and my dog, Mocha.  My oldest daughter, Zuri, is in preschool this year, and my younger daughter, Zola, is just one and a half.  I love to be outside, go for walks, read, spend time with my family, and hang out with my friends.  I'm so excited for this new adventure at Black River and have felt so welcomed by everyone!
