Marguerite Stephens, History Teacher, has created an annual tradition for her students by teaching them how to make cranes that will be sent to Japan. Her middle school students were able to make 1000 cranes in different sizes before school was closed. These are now on their way to Japan to be placed in the Hiroshima Peace Park, symbolizing are need for peace and healing. Marguerite has even been lucky enough to see one of her BR students get to see the cranes flying in the park while visiting Japan.
