The National Honor Society will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, October 8th, from 9am to 2:45pm. We would greatly appreciate donations. If you are sixteen or older and are interested in donating blood, please follow the following steps:

If you are 16 years old and wish to donate, please complete the following:

1) Please fill out this form:

2) Also, print out the Parental Consent Form. It must be signed, dated, and turned in to Ms. Mousseau's office by 11 AM by Friday, October 4th.

3) You will receive a confirmation email once your submission has been processed.

For those who are 17 years and older, wishing to donate, please complete the following:

1) Go to redcrossblood.org
2) Type "49423" into the "Find a Blood Drive" bar in the top right corner. 
3) Find the Black River Blood Drive
4) Click on a time slot
5) Make an account and sign up.

Please join all of the Black River Orchestras for our first concert of the 2019-2020 school year. The theme is "alternative styles", which includes a unique variety of music such as fiddle, rock, and jazz. All orchestra concerts are free of charge.

The Black River Theatre Company is hosting an elementary theatre workshop for any K-5 Black River student who has an interest in anything theatre!  This event will take place on Friday, October 11 from 10:00am-3:00pm.  The cost is $30 which will include a pizza lunch.  (or if you would prefer to bring a lunch from home- the cost is $25). Students will participate in a wide variety of age-appropriate theatre activities such as improvisation, stage makeup, theatre games, and storytelling.  There will be a short performance for parents at the end of the event.

Please register by Friday, October 4th.  Money can be turned in at the elementary office. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Andrews, BRTC Director, and Black River K-3 Music teacher at andrewsr@brpsk12.org.
