The BRPS 2027-2028 School Year Open Enrollment Period Starts Oct. 1st

Open Enrollment for the 2027-28 school year starts today, Thursday, October 1st, and ends on February 24, 2027 at 4:00pm. 

Enrollment Lottery Applications received at any time during this period will be eligible for the 2027-28 enrollment lottery in March.

Current BRPS families, faculty, and staff must complete an application if they have a new incoming student to BRPS for the 2027-2028 school year, including an incoming kindergartner, to receive sibling priority in the lottery. 

If your student was on a waitlist for the 2026-27 school year, the waitlist spot does not carry over to the following year. You must reapply under this year's open enrollment period.

Currently enrolled students do not need to reapply each year.
