Earlier this year, Black River students won awards from Scholastics Art and Writing. Senior Olivia Emig was named a Gold key winner for her work entitled Worlds Collide, as well as an Honorable Mention for Blue Skies Ahead. Her Gold key work will go on to the national show and compete for a national award with scholarships!

Sophomores Madden Passata and Hailey Huggett were both Silver Key Winners.

And this week, several students have been selected for the Juried Debut show which will be open April 13th. Congratulations Anita Corpetti, Ben Hartman, Anya Scott, Lindsey Cook, Ainsley Harju, Madden Pasatta, Siri Stoub Elaine, Amanda Molina-Belardo, Avery Mangum, Ava Dorman, and Mae Pasatta.
