As we work to help students learn how to self-monitor while using a device and remain on task when there are many ways to become distracted online, our teachers are going to begin using Securly Classroom. This feature will allow teachers to watch students’ screens in real-time and see what websites they have open, lock and unlock their screens, as well as lock students to a particular site. This will only be enacted during school hours and it is not possible for teachers to activate the Chromebook camera or microphone or use this service for unobserved surveillance.
