Don’t miss out on this fun event! 4th/5th Graders are invited to their own special reading party. on Monday, March 11 from 3:10-5:00pm in the elementary building, media lab. This is the same day and times as the Lower EL Reading Around the World event. Students are to report to the Elementary Computer Lab. They will be taken to the Lyceum for pizza. Ms. Kane, 6th Grade Literature, will be hosting the students in her classroom.with lots of reading themed activities planned. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Pick-Up will be at the back entrance of the elementary building. Please return boarding passes to your teacher by February 28. Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 1:00 - 8:00pm and Friday, March 15 from 12:20 - 3:30pm.
 
Conference sign up will be available online through our website beginning Wednesday, March 6 at 8:00am.  

Conference time slots are offered on a first come, first served basis, so early sign up is recommended for parents. Online sign up will end on Monday, March 11 at midnight.  Parents needing an appointment after sign up has ended will be asked to contact teachers directly.

Lost and Found for all buildings will be cleaned out immediately after spring conferences on March 15, 2019. Please remind your student to look for lost items or stop in during conference times to see if any items belong to your student. Due to our many necessary snow day cancellations this year, Black River is adding the morning of Friday, March 15 as a half day for all students, grades K-12. School will be in session from 8:00-11:00am. This day was originally for all day parent/teacher conferences.  These conferences will still be held in the afternoon.
