The deadline to order Advanced Placement exams is Monday, October 26.  

Geskus will be here on Monday to take pictures from 8:00am-11:00am for IN-PERSON students. 

Elementary pictures will take place in the media center while MS/HS pictures will be in the MS science lab. Tech Center students who arrive to campus after 11:00am will sign-in the main office and then report directly to the MS science lab to have their picture taken.

If possible, please have your child bring in their order form even if they are not ordering pictures. Elementary order forms are coming home today.  Picture forms for MS/HS remote learners that have not picked them up will be brought down on their behalf.  Retakes will occur on NOVEMBER 30th.

ELEMENTARY REMOTE LEARNERS: You are welcome to stop by to get your pictures taken too!  From 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday (10-26), you can park in the lot by the Lyceum and walk over to the exterior door of the MEDIA CENTER.  It is located in the corner of the back of the elementary building.  Look for the large sign to know which door to enter.

MS/HS REMOTE LEARNERS: The time is the same as the Elementary (11:00am-1:00pm) and you will also park in the back lot by the Lyceum. You will walk to the back of the main building to door E (exit closest to Ms. Chester’s room) and someone will be waiting to greet you. Pictures will be taken in the MS science lab. 

We have exciting news to share with you regarding the school meal service being provided for your child!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced schools will be able to serve free meals to all children through December 31, 2020.  This unprecedented move will help ensure – no matter what the situation is on-the-ground – children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. It remains critical our children continue to receive safe, healthy, and nutritious food. This will ensure meals are reaching all children so they are fed and ready to learn, even in new and ever-changing learning environments.
Effective Tuesday, September 8, 2020 all students can receive a free breakfasts and free lunches from school.

Students who chose in-person instruction can receive one free breakfast and one free lunch per school day on campus.

Families who chose remote instruction will be able to pick up five (5) free breakfasts and five (5) free lunches each week in the Lyceum parking lot on Monday. Beginning Monday, October 19 pickup will take place from 1-2pm in order to avoid conflicts with on campus food service distribution.

The Black River Theatre Company is holding auditions for two holiday productions (A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Christmas Carol). Conference time slots are offered on a first come, first served basis, so early sign up is recommended for parents. Online sign up will end on Wednesday, October 21 at midnight.  Parents needing an appointment after sign up has ended will be asked to contact teachers directly.
