Greetings Black River Public School River Rats!
We are so excited to welcome you to the Black River family. I will be hosting a tour for our 2022-2023 newly admitted high school students on two dates in May. Parents/Guardians and their newly admitted student(s) will have an opportunity to tour the main building, a typical BR classroom, the science building, and our Lyceum building which includes the cafeteria. music classrooms and two gymnasiums. If you have both a middle and high school student, please choose one middle school date for both. I would be happy to include information for both your students.

Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12:00pm - Our campus is closed that afternoon and the doors will lock promptly at 12:05pm, please do not be late.
OR
Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 4:00pm - Our campus is closed that afternoon and the doors will lock promptly at 4:05pm, please do not be late.
Where: Middle/High School Main Building, 491 Columbia Ave. - Parents and their student(s) can meet me in the main building lobby. The doors will be unlocked.
Please RSVP to this email if you will be attending. Parking is available in the main parking lot across from the middle/high school main building. I will be happy to answer your questions regarding the campus facilities at Black River. If you have specific questions regarding your students curriculum, assessments, and special education needs, please check your enrollment packet for the names and email addresses of the appropriate contact. I have attached a list in case you didn't save it. Due to the size of the group, we kindly ask that this be a tour for you and your student(s), we cannot provide care for siblings.
Unfortunately, if you cannot make one of these dates, we will not be offering another admitted student tour until the start of the school year. Students will have the opportunity to tour campus with their CAP teachers and find their classes on Tuesday, August 23 from 9am-10am. Families will also have an opportunity to meet their students' teachers and walk through the campus at the Curriculum Night Open House on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
