Dear Black River Community,

You may be hearing that some area school districts are choosing to not have school next Monday and Tuesday before the Thanksgiving holiday.  Every school district has different situations that they are working through and all are making the best decisions that they can for their students and staff.  Some of these decisions are related to student attendance rates and staffing concerns with teachers out because of COVID-19.

At Black River, we have been monitoring the same concerns that have been issues at other schools.  I am happy to say however, that our student attendance has been around 95% for the past week and we have staff that are able to work with your children!

While things can change quickly in this time of COVID-19, Black River plans to have school as scheduled next Monday and Tuesday.

If circumstances change, we will communicate that to our community as soon as possible.
