Update from the Head of School

All students will be able to improve their grades during these next two weeks as an extension to our normal semester.

We also have some students who have shown that they do not need any extra help at this time!  Congratulations to those students!  The perseverance they have shown as they have worked through this year is amazing and inspiring.  The teachers have plans for these and all other students as well.  This is a time for teachers to perhaps get to some important content that was difficult to get to this year due to the pandemic.  It is also a time to deliver fun content to those students who are ready for new and interesting activities.  We are looking forward to learning for learning's sake!

After these two weeks, we are excited for a taste of Project Term!  It's time for a breath of fresh air and teachers are working hard to have some fun with students in an educational way that feels more like the pre-pandemic BR.  A little bit of normalcy to end our school year is our goal.  Please understand that while these final weeks are a change from the normal BR school year, it does not change the attendance requirements that are still in place per our state approved policy.

We look forward to the end of this school year in a truly Black River way.
