We normally stay out of politics, but this is a fundamentally unfair school funding issue we can't ignore. Today Governor Whitmer used the line item veto to completely zero out funding increases for charter schools. Traditional public schools are budgeted to receive an additional $240 per student. Black River would get NOTHING.

Please add your voice to let the Governor know that public charter school students deserve the same funding increase traditional public schools are scheduled to receive. Here's the link:
