Black River Elementary will proudly be participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's coin drive and spirit week to help blood cancer patients and their families. As students collect coins, they are also invited to participate in our fun daily themed days!

Together as classroom teams, we can make a change in the fight against cancer. Please check those pockets and couch cushions for loose change. Your child may bring pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters or bills to school in their own personal collection box the week of March 18-22.

MONDAY: Pink & Purple Penny Day - Wear pink and/or purple while collecting pennies.

TUESDAY: Neon Nickels Day - Wear your brightest neon and bring in nickels.

WEDNESDAY: Dazzling Dimes Day - Donate dimes & wear something shiny or something that makes you different & unique.

THURSDAY: Crazy Quarters Day - Wear crazy socks to school today and bring in all of your coins and dollars.

FRIDAY: Team Up for Leukemia Day - Wear your favorite team’s jersey or colors and collect all coins and dollars.

The class that raises the most money will receive an Olive Garden pasta party!
