Did you know that the Black River Parent Organization spends $20,000 annually to support field trips, student celebrations, teacher appreciation gifts, and more for our Black River community?  Black River is truly fortunate to have the support of these dedicated parents!

These funds are raised by a school-wide fundraising campaign which culminates in our annual Fun Walk which is coming on October 5th!  Over the course of this week, our Parent Organization has distributed envelopes to students for collecting donations for this event.  Please take some time to look for it and consider donating to this great organization.  After the necessary funds are raised to support the items mentioned above for this school year, the excess funds will go toward the outdoor hard surface project.  A project for which our Parent Organization is dedicated to making a reality as soon as possible and has already saved over $40,000.  We're excited that project will benefit all of our students here at Black River.
