SCHOOL CLUBS

Dutch Dance
Advisor: Kim Bishop
Grades 9-12
An organizational meeting will be held in late October to
discuss costumes and changes in the Dutch Dance program.
Practices start in January twice a week until the week of Tulip
Time. Students will dance daily throughout the festival as scheduled.

Odyssey Of the Mind
Advisor: Greg Dykhouse
Grades: 8-12
An international educational program that provides creative
problem solving opportunities for students.

HS Book Club
Advisor: Ericka Foreman
Grades 9-12

Environmental Club
Advisor: Ginny Grinzinger
Meetings second Tuesday of each month, Room 211
Purpose is to involve students in school-wide and community
environmental activities.

Basketball Open Gym
Grades 7-12
Chris Grob, Coach
Thursdays from 6:00 – 9:00pm

Art Club
Advisor: Peter Middleton
Grades 6-12
Meetings are Thursdays 3:00—4:30 p.m.
Art Club is a studio art session where students can work on art
projects related to art classes that they are currently taking
and get additional help.

Japan Club Next Meeting
Advisor: Marguerite Stephens
Grades 5-12

Community Service Club

Spanish Club

Grades 8-12
Come listen to music, eat delicious food, watch movies, discuss culture
and, of course hablar en espanol!

Middle School Science Olympiad
Advisor: Koree Woodward
Grades 6-8
Meetings take place every Thursday 3:05—4:30 p.m. in Room 209
Explore and study specific areas of science interest and compete with other schools.

Equestrian Team
Coaches Monica McConnon and Ruth Crouch
Grades 9-12
Must own or lease your horse and have at least two years of riding
instruction. Team practices are weekly all summer with competitions
every Saturday in September.

Cross Country Club
Coaches Jim Fredenburg and Jamie Woods.
