More Information

Have you ever had questions about what exactly is Montessori Education?  Well, Black River has an AMAZING opportunity for you!!!  We have invited a captivating speaker, Betsy Lockhart, all the way from Denver, CO to share her wisdom on the Montessori Method.

We really hope that you will take an hour to attend this wonderful night of learning!

Montessori has been called the original brain-based learning.  Come and see how this 100-year-old educational approach teaches your child core concepts in innovative ways; Montessori children do not learn just the "what" of the world, but the "how" the "why" and the "how can I affect this" as well.

This educational approach inspires big-picture, out-of-the-box thinking and empowers children to be masters of their own learning.  You will leave with new ideas about learning and about how to support your child's educational experience (and perhaps a couple of ideas of what to avoid)!

What can you expect:

Montessori Planes of Development
A bit of neuroscience for mere mortals
Examples from math that will blow parents’ minds
Examples from Montessori Language
A brief word about the importance of cultural topic
Handouts and Resources for parents!!!
