This visit is for students interested in more information regarding Kuyper College

Juniors will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 11.  Students need to arrive at First Reformed Church no later than 7:30am.  (Map attached)

If students signed up to take the bus, they need to be in the front of school by 7:15am. 

Students need to bring the following:

• Picture ID (just in case staff are unable to personally identify them)
• Pencils/erasers (some will be provided but are not guaranteed)
• Calculator (some will be provided but are not guaranteed)
• Snack/Water for breaks - optional, encouraged for students using extended time

The test will end at approximately 12:00pm and students will be given 30 minutes to eat lunch and return to school.  Students are encouraged to bring a sack lunch, however, they will still be able to get hot lunch when they return to school, also.  Students who signed up to take the bus must ride the bus back to school.

Calling all 7-8th grade boys interested in playing basketball this season! There will be an informational meeting for students on Wednesday during lunch in Mrs. Ekdahl's office on the Auxiliary Gym Mezzanine level. If you are interested in or think you maybe interested in playing please attend so she can give you all the needed information. Practice starts on Monday, October 30. Students must have a valid MHSAA sports physical on file to begin practice.

The Varsity Soccer team would like to invite any Elementary Soccer players to be recognized at their last home game.  Come wearing your soccer jersey and walk out with one of our Varsity players.

When:  Meet at the ticket booth at 4:40pmwith a 5:00pm game start

 Where: BRPS Soccer Field

 What:  Walk out with Players, Half time Shoot Out Contest, Prizes and fun times with your BR community

The Annual Fall Open House at Careerline Tech Center (CTC) will be Tuesday, October 24 from 5:30 - 7:30pm for all community members.

Teachers and support staff will be in all the classrooms and labs, ready to show you around and answer any questions you may have about what we do here at CTC.

Students who are in 10th grade and thinking about taking a CTC class next year should think about attending as most 10th graders sign up for classes in January and February. Attending Open House is the best way to learn about the programs, scholarships, college credit, and work based learning opportunities.

In addition, the Electric Hero food truck will be here for those coming to Open House hungry and looking to purchase dinner.

Mid-term Grading Day

High School Students: If you're interested in joining the award-winning CHAOS Robotics team, or just want to see what we're about, be sure to stop in for our Open House.

Time: 10am-1pm
Place: CHAOS build site at 563 East 64th Street. Holland, MI

We need new students from Holland High and Black River in all areas including: electrical, mechanical, design, programming, analytics, marketing, graphics, and photography. There will be food, tours of the build areas, and a chance to drive one of our robots.
